Jane B. Ter Louw passed away at home on September 12, 2016 at the age of 93. A brief graveside service is scheduled at Culley's MeadowWood on Timberlane Road at 10:00 am Thursday, September 22.

Jane was the last survivor of her family's generation, having lost brothers Jerry, Peter, Bill and Bernie and sisters Jo and Alice. She outlived her husband, John W. Ter Louw and three sons: Don, John G. and Jeremy. Surviving are her son Jay and his wife, Jancie, and daughter Janne Creecy and her husband, Sam.

Jane Van Kempen was born on May 1, 1923 in Albany, New York. She and John were married in June, 1943 and were together more than 71 years until he died in November 2014. She toiled hard all her life, raising children, helping John in the ministry at churches in New York, Tallahassee and Wisconsin, and working as a medical office manager.

After John's death, she lived on her own until April 2016, then was tended with love at home by Jay and Jancie, with help from Janne and the caring staff of Big Bend Hospice. She died in peace, and now she and John are together again for the rest of time.

Instead of flowers, the family would be honored by donations to Big Bend Hospice.
